We still have a few tables for our Valentine’s Weekend 2025, which this year starts on Friday 14th February (Valentine’s Day) but which we’re carrying through Saturday to Sunday 16th February.
Along with our Main Menu and the great deal Friday & Saturday Lunchtime Special, we can pre-order fantastic steaks (served with a choice of sauces: Au Poivre or Dianne and our famous hand-cooked chips). We can also pre-order fresh Cornish crabs for our stunning Basque style fresh Crab Txangurro or even a Fresh Lobster with your choice of preparations. These special dishes do require pre-ordering before Wednesday 12th February when you book your table so we can let our suppliers know in good time.
It’s also worth knowing, as a proudly independent restaurant, we’ve decided to hold our prices again for 2025, they’ve not changed since 2022, while still offering the same great quality, value and generous tapas portions.

Above: One of our Seafood Specials: Cornish pot-caught dressed Brown Crabs (aka: Edible or Pasty Crabs) are in season so Chef/Owner Mandie can order them in and is creating her take on Basque Txangurro (Shangurro).
She scoops out the meat, which is sauteéd with very finely chopped red onion and garlic. She adds a splash of white wine, salt and pepper, freshly chopped parsley and tarragon and then pops it back into the shell. The crab is dotted with butter and then baked for 15 minutes.
